Well, it has been so long since I posted something :)... Thinking of keeping it live through the most easiest way for me - by making it as a Photo-Blog [Just Thinking :)]. Again it won't be the tips and tricks to take decent photos, as I am yet to find out those. My thoughts are to point out the negatives in the pictures taken by me till now, like "What-not-to-be-repeated" sorts along with some story behind the picture if possible...(Thanks to the part of the title of Chetan Bhagat's first book - 'What not to do at IIT')
The year in which I upgraded from my Mobile Cam to Cybershot DSC W150, my first digicam...The year in which I "thought" I have some real talents in photography after seeing my cliché out of focus flower/ insect shots...The year in which I started exploring and overdoing post processing...The year in which I started using my pictures as my Wallpaper…
The year in which I took the pain to read the camera manual and started exploring my Cybershot...The year in which I started realizing that most of my 'post processing effects' can actually be achieved from camera itself...The year in which I got so many of 'My First' snaps like Blurred Background, Black Background, Butterflies etc...The year in which I used to search and analyze snaps taken by professionals...And most importantly the year in which I realized that 'some' of my then Best Snaps are actually thrash-able....
2010 – The Learning Curve Starts
The year in which I decided to upgrade my camera but was skeptical about SLRs as I don't even know the basics of basics in photography...The year in which I came to know about prosumer cameras and bought my Lumix FZ 35...The year in which I got the opportunity to understand the basics of photography (Thanks to Infy Photography Gurus)...The year in which I started clicking after deciding the parameters rather than just trial and error...The year in which I started going out just to shoot (Even in early mornings!!)...The year in which I started to restrict my post processing to the basics...The year in which I shift deleted 'most' of my then favorites...The year in which I stopped using the snaps taken by me as the wallpaper as I always found many other excellent wallpaper pics from my Gurus...And the year in which I started convincing Praveena (and myself) to buy SLR next year...
